Marriage - 1649/50 Richard Chettle & Millicent
Trade - Chandler, Slater & Plasterer. Home Leicester, St Martins Parish during his Marriage To Millicent. Then after her death he lived in All Saints Parish, Leicester.
Freeman - 28 August 1647 Richard Chettle apprentice of Richard Ludlam ( Chandler). Richard Ludlam was a member of the Town Committee during the Royalist Attack on Leicester in 1645, during the Civil War. Richard Chettle was probably aged 19.

Baptism - 30 July 1654, Henry Chettle, St Martins Parish.
Burial - 20 February 1658, Henry Chettle, St Martins Parish.

Burial - 14 May 1658 Millicent Chettle Wife of Richard at St Martins.

Sworn to the ordinal of their company 1657-1742: Richard Chettle.

Richard Chettle was most probably the Uncle of Robert Chettle Snr (Welby). The facts point very strongly to this. Nothing is yet known of Mary or Richard Chettle Jnr.

Sarah married Hanniel (Daniel) Langton on 24 October 1686 at All Saints.
