There is one other coincidence in Sussex. There was an Edward Chettle living 12 miles away from Cuckfield at Steyning near Brighton in 1879-1880. Edward Chettle was born in Thorney near Peterborough in 1852 with an elder Brother named Frederick William born in 1850. This area of Peterborough is about 12 miles from Chatteris (Manea) where the Brother of George Rodney went to live and Williams Brother, Robert also went to live. there is a possible connection between these Families.

Our Line Continues With Frederick William Chettle
