There is an interesting Family story in that one of this Family "ran off" to Nottingham with the insurance money, belonging to Frederick William Chettle of Rothley. Seeing that Robert died in 1896 and was an Insurance Agent it was either Alfred or his Son George Rodney.

James Chettle of Nottingham came to live in Leicester (1891 Census) at 73 Carlisle Street, Leicester (5 minutes from Cranmer Street). He died in Leicester in 1901 aged 45. Alfred Chettles Uncle, George Rodney who was a Soldier had a Daughter called Louise who was born in Nottingham in 1835 and Married in Leicester in 1868 (see earlier double Wedding, Marriage entry)
