None of Johns Family appear to have married and the line ended with the death of Dorothy. The Cottage was left to a friend. The interesting feature being that had our Ancestor, Frederick, born 1829 had contact with Dorothy (died 1864) and she had told him of her Great Grandfather, it would have led us directly back to Robert Chettle (1674).
In Kelly's Directory 1854 for Ab Kettleby, Dorothy Chettle is listed as a Shopkeeper.
