Matilda Chettle - 4th Daughter Of George Rodney and Ann

Born - 1842 June Qtr at Eyre Street Hill, St Andrews, East Holborn, London.
1851 Census - Aged 8 living at 105 Belgrave Gate, Leicester, with the Family.
Marriage - 1859 aged 18 October 18 at St Margarets Church, Leicster, to John Franks, a Baker, aged 20 from Great Glen. Both Matilda and John were witnesses at Mary Ann Chettle's Wedding in 1865.

1881 Census - Aged 38 living at 60 Burleys Lane, Leicester with her Husband John. In 1881Matilda had 8 Children. Thomas aged 2 , John Alfred aged 18, William aged 16, Matilda aged 14, Ada aged 9, George Henry aged 6, Florence aged 4 and Louisa aged 1.

Death - Died age 44 years 21/4/1886 her husband John died age 46 years, just 6 months prior in 1885, both buried in Welford Road cemetery, Part C -Section I plot No. 357.
